Samastha Kerala Sunni Jam-iyyathul Muallimeen (SKSJM) KOZHIKODE is a distinguished organization of Madrasa teachers working under the
Islamic Educational Board of India (IEBI). Its organizational structure spans State, District, Mekhala, and Range Committees across and beyond Kerala.
The mission of SKSJM is to achieve the financial, intellectual, and spiritual empowerment of teachers.
The organization conducts a variety of training programs such as Qur’anic Recitation and Khathunnaskh Courses, ensuring continuous professional and moral development.
The Welfare Committee functions through multiple departments, offering support in areas like housing, marriage, well construction, house repairs, sickness, accidents, and childbirth.
Special housing schemes are provided to homeless teachers, reflecting SKSJM’s deep commitment to community welfare.
The organization also publishes Sunnath magazine for teachers and families, and Kusumam magazine for children, nurturing both intellect and moral values.
For Da‘wa and missionary purposes, SKSJM operates a dedicated missionary wing, under which Sunni Bala Sangam functions to enhance students’ abilities and moral awareness.
All examinations, except the General Exam, are conducted by SJM. It regularly prepares and distributes question papers for General, Boarding, and English Medium sessions,
and also manages the evaluation and certification processes for teacher training programs such as Training, Khathunnaskh, and Hizb Courses.
